Avetlink AK Electric Tricycle Powertrain for African Fleets
For fleet owners in Lagos, Cairo, and Addis Ababa, fuel costs and frequent repairs can leave little profit. When petrol takes up 60% of daily income, reducing running costs becomes essential. Carrying five passengers on rough roads also puts extra strain on traditional petrol engines.
The Avetlink AK electric tricycle powertrain combines the motor, controller, differential, and rear axle into a matched system. It is designed to help convert suitable petrol tricycles into electric vehicles with lower running costs and less maintenance.
Built for Heavy Loads and Daily Work
The AK uses a 1,200W motor and a 24-tube controller to support demanding passenger and cargo work. It is designed for 450 kg loads, with strong pulling power for hills, busy streets, and unpaved roads.
The integrated motor, differential, and axle deliver power directly to the wheels, with a stated drive efficiency of 95%. This layout removes the need for an external chain or belt drive and reduces the number of parts that need attention.
With a 10-year design-life target, the system is built for long-term use with routine servicing. Electric operation eliminates petrol use, spark-plug replacement, and petrol-engine oil changes. Follow the specified maintenance schedule for the axle and differential.

Convert Your Fleet in Stages
You do not need to replace 60 vehicles at once. Avetlink AK conversion kits allow you to upgrade suitable existing tricycles gradually, reducing the initial investment compared with buying an entirely new fleet.
The system is available in CKD—Completely Knocked Down—form, with components supplied for local assembly. The listed packing arrangement accommodates 60 units in a 40-foot high-cube container, helping reduce shipping costs per unit.
Assembly and Spare Parts Support
Avetlink provides technical assembly guides and ongoing spare parts support to help local teams install, service, and maintain the AK system. Factory-direct pricing supports fleet conversions and local vehicle assembly projects.
