AIR DRIVE SECTIonThe air drive section consists of a light weight piston complete with seals running inside analuminumbarrel. The diameter of the air piston is160mm. When compressed air is supplied tothe pump the airpushes the air piston down on a compression stroke(forces as out of the gas end).Under thecontrol of pilot pins (poppet valve) triggered at each end of the stroke2.
