Brief introduction of structurGW9 - 10, 12 (G) outdoor unipolar isolation switches (hereinafter referred to as switches) are suitable for 10 kilovolt high voltage transmission and distribution lines to cut off and close single-phase or three-phase circuits without load and voltage. The switch is used for single-phase of three-phase line system. Its structure is simple, economical and easy to use.The rated current of the switch is 200, 400, 630, 800 and 1000 amperes. They are all composed of base, post insulator, conductive part and mechanism part. The switch-off structure is adopted to cut off and close the circuit. Each phase brake knife consists of two conductive blades. Compression springs are installed on both sides of the blade. The contact pressure required for switching brake knife can be obtained by adjusting the height of the springs. When the switch is switched on and off, the switching motion can be carried out by using the hook bar operating mechanism. The brake cutter has a self-locking device. The shape of the switch is shown in the figure.II. Use Environmental Conditions and Main Technical Parameters1. Environmental Conditions for Use(1) The altitude shall not exceed 2000 meters;(2) Environmental temperature: the highest is not higher than + 40; the lowest is not lower than 30C;(3) Outdoor wind speed does not exceed 35 meters per second;(4) Earthquake intensity does not exceed magnitude 8;(5) Installation sites shall be free of gases, vapors and gases that seriously affect the insulation and conductivity of switches.Chemical precipitation, salt spray, dust and dirt, and other explosive and corrosive media.2. Work before installation(1) Eliminate the dust and dirt on the other parts and carefully erase the surface of insulating porcelain bottles; (2) Coat an industrial Vaseline on the rotating parts and contacts;(3) Check the contact surface, adjust the width of compression spring, make contact pressureIn accordance with the following table:(4) This switch is only suitable for hoisting as shown in Fig. 4. It is general and on-line.Transformers are used in conjunction with each other.(5) The rated current of this switch is 200 - 400A. Generally, only two mounting holes are used.Three installation holes are used in 630-1000A; (6) Installation methods and dimensions are shown in the figure.2. Check the following parts of the switch regularly every year(1) Cleaning up dirt, especially the conductive part, the contact surface and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles;(2) Inspecting the parts of each other for non-destructive damage, paying special attention to the phenomenon of non-destructive rupture of insulating porcelain bottles;(3) Check whether the contact surface of the conductive part is good.Transportation and custody1. The switch is assembled, adjusted and tested in a single-phase mode by the manufacturer and packed according to the specified specifications.2. No inversion or strong shock or collision shall be allowed during transportation.3. After the switch arrives at the destination, the packaged wooden box should not be loose or damaged before it can be dismantled.4. After unpacking, check whether the product and the attached product certificate, installation and operation instructions are complete.5. Inspect the other parts of the switch without damage and broken insulating porcelain bottles.6. If the switch is not used immediately, it should be inspected regularly and coated with industrial Vaseline at the contact surface and the rotating part.V.
