Overview of Single-effect Evaporator ProductsThe single-effect evaporator is suitable for the recovery of industrial alcohol such as traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine, glucose, wine-making, starch, oral liquid, chemical industry, food, natural flavor, food additives, monosodium glutamate, dairy products, etc. The single-effect evaporator can be used for the vacuum concentration of small batches and many varieties of low thermal sensitivity.2. Characteristics of single-effect evaporator2.1 Alcohol recovery: The recovery capacity is large, and the vacuum concentration process is adopted. Compared with the old single-effect evaporator of the same type, it can increase productivity by 5-10 times and reduce energy consumption by 30%. It has the characteristics of low investment and high recovery efficiency.2.2 Concentrate material: the single effect evaporator adopts the combination of external heating natural circulation and vacuum negative pressure evaporation. The evaporation rate is fast, the concentration ratio can reach 1.3, the liquid material is completely foam free, and the concentrated liquid produced by single effect evaporator has the characteristics of no pollution and strong flavor, and it is easy to clean (the upper and lower cover of the heater can be cleaned). The single-effect evaporator is simple to operate and occupies a small area. The heater and evaporator adopt stainless steel insulation structure. The outer insulation layer is made of stainless steel sheet, and the surface is treated with mirror or matt.2.3 The single-effect evaporator has the advantages of fast concentrating speed, short time, multi-purpose in one machine, atmospheric pressure, vacuum concentrating and paste collecting. The single-effect evaporator (single-effect external circulation evaporator) consists of heating chamber, evaporation chamber, foam trap, condenser, cooler, receiving tank, valve fittings of inner connecting pipe of the system, supporting instruments, etc. The contact part with materials is made of stainless steel 304/316L, which is corrosion resistant and beautiful in appearance. There is heat preservation outside the heater and evaporator. The outer insulation is made of stainless steel plate. The surface is treated by mirror or matt, which fully meets the GMP standard. The heater of single-effect evaporator adopts fast-opening structure, which is convenient to clean. The inner part of the heating chamber is tubular. The shell side is connected with the raw steam, and the liquid inside the tube is heated. The adding chamber is equipped with pressure gauges and safety valves to ensure the safety of production. The front of the separation chamber is equipped with a viewing mirror for the operator to observe the evaporation of material and liquid. The back manhole is convenient for cleaning the interior of the chamber when the variety is changed. A thermometer and a vacuum meter are also provided to observe and master the temperature of material and liquid in the evaporation chamber and the vacuum degree during negative pressure evaporation.3. Structure and Performance of Single-effect EvaporatorThe single-effect evaporator consists of heating chamber, separator, demister, vapor-liquid separator, condenser, cooler, liquid storage tank, circulation pipe and other components. The whole set of single-effect evaporator equipment is made of high-quality stainless steel materials.The inner part of the heating chamber is tubular. The shell side is connected with the raw steam, and the liquid inside the tube is heated. The adding chamber is equipped with pressure gauges and safety valves to ensure the safety of production.The front of the separating chamber of the single-effect evaporator is equipped with a viewing mirror for the operator to observe the evaporation of the material. Working Principle of Single-effect Evaporator The raw steam enters the outside of the tube of the heating chamber, heating up the material and liquid, spraying it into the evaporation chamber from the nozzle for vapor-liquid separation. The material and liquid return to the lower part of the heating chamber for reheating, and the material and liquid are heated and sprayed into the evaporation chamber for circulation. The evaporator of single effect evaporator is concentrated to a certain extent. After sampling is determined, the material is discharged from the outlet. The steam evaporated from the evaporation chamber is removed by the demister, then the vapor-liquid separator is removed, and some of the liquid is returned to the evaporation chamber. The remaining two steam is cooled by the condenser and cooler to form liquid into the liquid storage tank. Finally, the non condensable gas is discharged into the atmosphere or the vacuum pump is taken away.5. Operating Regulations for Single-effect Evaporator5.1 Pre-operation essential work:5.1.1 Before operation, check whether the equipment, valves and instruments are normal, whether the pipeline is unblocked and there is no leakage. Clean the equipment only if there is no abnormality.5.1.2 Check whether the heater and evaporator are cleaned.5.1.3 Check whether the valves are in the correct opening and closing position. only after the re-examination is correct can it be operated and used.5.2 Boot operation:5.2.1 Open the vacuum valve;5.2.2 Open the feeding valve and close the feeding valve immediately when the liquid is seen in the viewing mirror of the evaporator.5.2.3 Open the condenser and circulating cooling water. The water pressure is stabilized at 0.1-0.2 MPa.5.2.4 Slowly open the steam valve. The evaporator is heated to the required pressure to heat the evaporator.5.3 Normal operation:5.3.1 Adjust the opening degree of the feed valve, control the liquid level to maintain a certain height, so that the liquid evaporation and liquid replenishment can reach a dynamic balance.5.3.2 Every 2 hours or so, the exhaust valve of the heater is opened to discharge the non-condensable gas.5.3.3 The discharge of condensate water, in addition to the separate discharge of heater condensate water, evaporative condensate water is discharged once every 15-20 minutes. Discharge steps are as follows: a. Close the water valve;b. Open the exhaust valve to make the receiving tank empty from vacuum; c. Open the drain valve to discharge the condensate; d. After the condensate is discharged, first close the drain valve, then close the exhaust valve, and open the water valve equipment to run normally.5.4 Shutdown operation:5.4.1 Close the steam valve and stop supplying steam.5.4.2 Close the vacuum butterfly valve;5.4.3 Open the evaporator exhaust valve to destroy the evaporator vacuum and put down the extract during concentration.5.4.4 Open the exhaust valve and drain valve to drain the condensate water.5.4.5 Clean evaporators and heaters.6.
