Indomethacin is a potent inhibitor of prostaglandin synthesis in vitro. Concentrations are reached during therapy which have been demonstrated to have an effect in vivo as well. Indomethacin has been shown to be an effective anti-inflammatory agent. Indomethacin affords relief of symptoms. It has not been shown to alter the progressive course of the underlying disease.INDICATIONS:For long-term use in rheumatoid arthriris,ankylosing spondylitis and osteoarthriris. Pregnancy,lactation,hypersensitivity to any component of Indomethacin.PRECAUTIONS:In case of persistent headache,dizziness,lightheadedness or gastrointestinal bleeding,discontinue therapy.
