Uses: 6-Benzylaminopurine is a wide spectrum plant growth regulator. It can accelerate growth of cell. When used with gibberellins, fruit's shape can be improved. 6-Benzylaminopurine stimulates the following effects: Cell division; Lateral bud emergence (apples, oranges); Basal shoot formation (roses, orchids); Flowering (cyclamen, cacti); Fruit set (grapes, oranges, melons).
Toxicology: Acute oral LD50: Male rats 2125mg/kg, female rats 2130mg/kg; Acute dermal LD50 for mice (male, female)>5000mg/kg. Causes eye damage and irritation. TLM(48hrs)for carp 400ppm.
